Solution

Given points are

A = (0, 0)

B = (5, 0)

C = (5, 5)

and translating by 2 units x-direction and 3 units in y-directions

Let tx = 2 and ty = 3

As we know,

We will calculate translated point using below formula

x’ = x + tx

y’ = y + ty

For Point (0, 0):

x = 0 + 2 = 2

y = 0 + 3 = 3

So, New point after translating (0, 0) is (2, 3)

For Point (5, 0):

x = 7 + 2 = 9

y = 0 + 3 = 3

So, New point after translating (0, 0) is (9, 3)

For Point (5, 5):

x = 5 + 2 = 7

y = 5 + 3 = 8

So, New point after translating (0, 0) is (2, 3)

Now we will plot graph using these points
